Different virtual environments – something for everyone

Currently the biggest benefits of 3D virtual environments seem to be in teaching and training applications. There are distinct possibilities to enhance learning experience with these environments, but also barriers in their use. The aim of this paper is to help educators narrow down their choice, by matching different user needs with features and restrictions of these environments.
