A word that has crept into the language is 'produsage' which Dr Axel Brun (2008) defined as 'the collaborative and continuous building and extending of existing content in pursuit of further improvement' (p. 16) in his book Blogs, Wikipedia, Second Life, and Beyond: From Production to Produsage (Digital Formations). Produsage comes from a combination of two words 'production' and 'usage' and has come about because of the changes that interactive web networking (often mistakenly called Web 2.0) has enabled.
