Today’s DERN Research Review is the last for 2013. DERN Research Reviews will recommence in February 2014. DERN would like to say a special thanks to its rapidly increasing number of users during 2013 and wish educators every success in 2014.

A quick reflection of research into the effective use of ICT in teaching and learning in 2013 is captivating because there are some clear patterns beginning to emerge, especially in schools and teacher education, although training continues to move from strength to strength.
